Ontario Centre for  Environmental Technology Advancement (OCETA)

Kevin Jones is the President and CEO of OCETA, a private, not-for-profit corporation whose core mission is to deliver customer-driven initiatives that support the deployment and market adoption of clean technology products and environmentally sustainable solutions.

Kevin has more than 22 years of diversified private and public sector experience in the environmental industry. He has designed and delivered industry-led programs to change buyer behaviour and increase their receptivity to adopt practices to improve sustainability performance.  Kevin was instrumental in leading a major initiative with a management consulting firm to conduct a first-ever analysis and report on Ontario’s clean technology sector.

He is currently providing expert advice on a project to benchmark the sustainability performance of Ontario’s food and beverage industry, and a report that is identifying opportunities for Ontario to become a global leader in clean water technologies.

Kevin is a respected speaker in the areas of environmental sustainability and clean technology.

He is a member of the Greening Greater Toronto Procurement Leadership Council of the Toronto City Summit Alliance, and is a member on the Canadian Standards Association’s Strategic Steering Committee on Business Management and Sustainability

Mr. Jones has an Executive MBA from Athabasca University, a Master of Science in Environmental Planning from the University of Toronto, and an Honours B.A. from McMaster University.
